If there is any chance of pregnancy, a home pregnancy test should be done using morning urine. But, it is not uncommon to have a cycle without ovulation and so a menstrual period is skipped. If your pregnancy test is negative and 2 periods in a row are missed, see your doctor. Good luck to you!
