Would complete the course of antibiotics and then reassess. if nodule has not changed in size discuss biopsy with dermatology.

You probably have a boil, just continue with doxycycline, most of the time it will heal with or without antibiotic. At times, an incision & drainage (I&D) needs to be done. Take care.
