A member asked:

How likely will a single shot of kenagol 80mg cause permanent side effects? and if it does cause side effects how long will they likely last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A single dose of a long acting corticosteroid, like Kenalog would be extremely rare to cause long-term symptoms. A person with diabetes may have a large spike in blood sugar after this injection but this is rare.
