I had surgery and the surgeon used staples. i'm not sure what type of staples, but they were to be left inside the body. he had to go in twice to put in extra staples at the apex end. i think a staple worked it's way lose and exited out today. safe?

You don’t indicate what type of surgery this is or the location of the surgery (like abdomen versus arm/leg, etc.). Having said that, typically if a staple makes its way out it usually means the tissue underneath has healed and the staple is no longer needed. You can call the surgeon to be certain but if there is no pain or bleeding, it is likely fine. Good luck!
