There are different types of parasites that infect/affect the scalp but Head Lice seems the commonest. There are also many OTC treatments for Scalp parasites. Permethrin Shampoo used as directed, seem to work quite well but if still concerned, the PCP or Dermatologist should be seen for Evaluation and Treatment.
