Depends on cause: This depends greatly on what you mean by "small swelling".Livers can be slightly enlarged from more benign causes, e.g. "fatty liver", or from more acutely dangerous causes, e.g. Cirrhosis. Masses can be present, ranging from benign cysts to highly lethal cancers. Lab abnormalities similarly have a range of causes. You should check in with the provider who made the finding.
