A member asked:

I read that garlic can help thin blood in order to prevent blood clots. can garlic make your blood too thin? and can eating garlic every day be dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eating garlic does thin out the blood like aspirin does .This can have a both positive and negative affect depending on your overall health. Garlic does lower your risk developing cancer. Your PCP will discuss this with you on your next exam.
