Liver Damage: Elevated liver tests mean that the liver is under stress or strain. This usually happens with exposure to too many medications, too much tylenol (acetaminophen) or Acetaminophen or too much alcohol. If your addiction was alcohol the longer you stay sober the better your liver has a chance to recover and heal.
