A member asked:

I see a top opthalmogist regularly, and he has said that i have an area of diabetic macula edema near to my macula. however, he feels it is safe to watch and wait and come back in 3 months. is this risky?

In person advice from a "top ophthalmologist" is far more reliable than an opinion by a distant forum doctor. You also can check with the physician who manages your diabetes. If they advise it is safe to reevaluate in three months, you should follow that advice. Good luck.
