What is the treatment for diabetic macula edema, if a persons vision is perfect?

Usually, serial evaluations by an ophthalmologist, using OCT, is all that is necessary, BUT many medications can cause macular edema, especially in diabetics (especially S-1P drugs used in MS). If medication side effect, stop the offender.
