Dr told me to take myo inositol to help with pcos. i bought a bottle from iherb and its 2000mg. says to take 4 capsules with a meal. isnt that too much? should i be taking less? one am, one pm? im not sure when or how many to take?

Since the FDA doesn't investigate supplements like myo inisotol physicians are reluctant to ok them for concerns with contaminants that may interact with medications or cause side effects, concern about dosage and lack of proof of claimed effects.
