This sounds like you may have varicose veins. These can be treated so that you would be less self-conscious so see your doctor for an evaluation to see what treatment might be recommended. Good luck to you!

Spider veins are damaged blood vessels just under the skin that look red, blue or purple. Usually harmless. Treatment is needed for cosmetic reasons and is usually effective. If also varicose veins, then see vascular surgeon. Hope it helps.
