Red dot PROBLEM: If the red dots do not blanch (/turn pale or temporarily vanish) when you push on them, you need rechecked by a Dr ASAP, as could be indication of bleeding problem. Need more history & exam + new lab tests to determine issue.

Probably not.: The purple veins are most likely a condition called livido reticularis. This Is a benign condition seen more during the winter (cold) The red dots combined with the livido suggest a vasculitic ( inflammation of the small vessel) this can be seen in viral infections ( self limited) or connective tissue diseases such as cryoglobulonemia or antiphospholipid syndrome. Consult rheumatolgy if persists.
