True "PMS" symptoms are usually due to sudden drops in ovarian estrogen production, at the pre-ovulatory and immediate pre-menstrual days. Ask your GYN physician about low dose oral contraception, to stop ovarian hormone production, which should relieve the PMS symptoms.
