Not true except...: I know of absolutely no evidence that lunar or solar eclipses have any influence on pregnancy at all. However, lunar eclipses only occur during full moons & many people feel that women are more likely to go into labor near the full moon. No effect: Other than the required protection of the eyes with filters when viewing a solar eclipse, there should be no effect at all on pregnancy or the general health of the body. To be prepared, use proper filtration for the solar eclipse. The lunar eclipse requires no precautions.
