Pain/infection on #5. had bridge from #2-#5. rc no go. extracted #2&#5? implants were done immediately. 4 different rounds ab still pain/swell where #5 was & upperjaw/face pain/headaches. doc said pain should go away after pulling it but hasn't. why?

The best thing to do may be to discuss with your clinician who may be in a better position to tell you or get somebody to reevaluate you as second opinion. It is unfortunate that if the implant was done before clearing the underlying infection, it may be more difficult to clear and there may be need for prolonged use of antibiotics along with pain management and medications.
