Quick pain at start of urination, feels like it's on the left side of penis at the tip. lasts around 1/2 second until flow starts. no burning, no cloudiness, no blood, no frequent urination. no other pain anywhere. comes and goes, no pattern?

At this time, without other symptoms, it appears you have a minor irritation at the tip of your urethra. Is the opening (meatus) irritated looking? Any recent trauma? This doesn't seem to be a STD,bladder or prostate issue. If the discomfort doesn't improve or if it worsens, see your MD or a urologist for evaluation and testing of urine.
