Anything that causes fever can result in night sweats, which usually are the result of fever breaking during the night. Inflammatory bowel disease certainly can do this, but it most likely when your UC or Crohn's disease have flared up. However, night sweats rarely would be the only symptom of these problems. Discuss with your doctor. Good luck.
