It really depends on the dose of each pill, if the pills were taken at once, overall health of the child, etc. Calling poison control for advice is a good idea but if the child exhibits excessive sleepiness, you should call the pediatrician immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. The child may need to be monitored closely for respiratory depression. Good luck!
