A member asked:

Does living under a flight path and loving next to an international airport cause cancer? is air pollution worse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is no evidence that Living under a flight path or living next to a airport causes cancer. There is of course exhaust from the burnt jet fuel which releases some petrochemicals into the air but most of these are dispersed into the atmosphere. The only suspect causes for Cancer(Lung) are ground level diesel exhaust which releases black smoke(soot) which can get into the lungs on breathing.
