I have a light brown/grey mark on the back of my gland. it has been there for a long time (over 6 months at least). when i get erect it goes away. it doesnt hurt or anything but i have always been worried about it being cancer?

I suspect this is one of the normal pigmented lesions, such as melanosis, that can occur on the glans. For peace of mind a dermatologist is best to inspect it & advise you.

From your description not cancer but skin pigmentation. Pl get it checked out by a urologist
