HIV transmission by oral sex theoretically is possible but is very rare. There has never been a scientifically proved case of HIV transmitted mouth to penis, and only rare cases penis to mouth. And no cases have proved to be transmitted by cunnilingus (oral-vaginal contact). Probably you should get tested for reassurance, but you can expect a negative result. Sex with your wife is safe.

HIV is transmitted through seminal and vaginal fluids that enter the body through the bloodstream and delicate mucosal membranes. If one has bleeding gums or a cut in mouth than the fluids can transmit the virus. Using a condom is the proper protection but don't use an oil base on it such as Vaseline or baby oil since they can weaken the condom and cause a tear. Have sex whenever you wish.
