I have an inverted nipple and it removes white brownish discharge but it doesn't hurt, can it be serious or can it be inverted back to normal?

Thick or sticky discharge that is green, greenish brown or reddish brown may be caused by a non-cancerous condition called mammary duct ectasia. Ectasia means dilatation of the mammary ducts . Inverted nipple since earlier years of age is not abnormal. But if recent need to be examined by your PCP.If you want the inverted nipple to be corrected plastic surgeon may help.

It would be rarer than an inverted nipple in a 21 year old that has been always present would be a serious illness. Since you were having discharge and symptoms, it’s highly recommended that you have an in person physical exam by primary care physician or OB/GYN, or general surgeon for specific diagnosis and treatment
