Ovulation calculator: On many websites, you can find ovulation calculators. There are now apps for smart phones. Just download it and for the next few months put in the dates of the first day of your menstrual period. The calculator helps you track your period and your most fertile days to help with conception or pregnancy prevention.

Home LH urine tests: If you have irregular cycles, it may be difficult to know when you ovulate. You can buy the clearblue fertility monitor or opks (ovulation predictor kits) at a pharmacy. Opks are located next to the condoms usually. Follow the directions on the box. If your periods are very irregular (> 35day cycles) then you probably will need to use the clearblue monitor (link: http://bit.Ly/xwi55r ).
