Most things apart from raw fish, soft cheeses and raw eggs can be eaten during pregnancy in moderation. Fried calamari would be an example of exercising moderation. Overconsumption results in a high fat, high calorie intake. Squid in particular is one of the most cholesterol rich foods around.
