Very difficult problem especially trying to resolve at home. Having said that we can try a quarter inch heel lift , this will take tension off of the tendon if it is the Achilles tendon. You can try strengthening as well. Try ice message prior to stretching. Cup fill with water and freeze Tear small amount of the rim and message the tendon up and down
