Symptoms from COVID are highly variable, though what you are describing is not very suggestive. It can't hurt to test if you wish.

Covid can cause a variety of symptoms throughout the body, including loose stools. If you have acute diarrhea, you can test for Covid, although it would be unusual to have this as the only symptom. Good luck.
