Day 3 after barium sulfate for ct scan. i took laxatives since i suffer from constipation. i am pooping normal but no barium in poop. does this mean it isnt coming out ?

Not really. It may take a little longer to express the barium. Please drink plenty of water, fluids to help remove barium from system

Can you get constipated from switching from laxative to laxative? I couldn't poop for one day, so I took senna laxatives for two days, took prune juice for three days, still couldn't poop and now I'm trying to take magnesium citrate on my fourth day?
Unable to have normal bowel movements. Laxatives no longer work. I have to strain to the point of nearly passing out to pass liquid stool or gas. No bowel blockage shown on X-ray or CT scan. What could the issue possibly be?
