Im on the third day of my period, the blood flow suddenly stopped and now i'm in a huge amount of pain. what is going on? i always get painful periods but not like this. i took acetaminophen 4 hour ago, it didn't stopped th pain. can i take ibuprofen?

See your GYN physician for an exam and ask about low dose oral bcp's, which will suppress ovarian function and reduce the amount of bloodflow and clots.
