I was exposed to carbon monoxide for several hours. have been to er room several times. still have headaches, vertigo, lightheadedness and extreme fatigue. could i have some kind of brain damage? i was never given oxygen the first day of exposure?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. For a mild exposure to carbon monoxide, oxygen may not be needed. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

A very helpful response was already provided here. I am wondering if an MRI of the brain was performed? If you haven't had an MRI of the brain yet, you should consider asking your doctor to order it. It will go a long way to help with your question regarding potential structural changes resultant from carbon monoxide exposure, particularly in consideration of the symptoms you are having.
