CMV does not cause chest or shoulder pain and rarely any cardiovascular problem. Just having a positive blood test is not sufficient to know CMV is the cause of any particular health problem. Keep working with your doctor; if CMV is seriously suspected, it would be good to see an infectious diseases specialist. Good luck.
