Chest and tummy hurt when coughing is common when having cold if you have severe coughing for a couple days. Yellow thick phlegm is also a feature of viral bronchitis so antibiotic is not indicated. You need to hydrate well and you are allowed to take cough medication & tylenol or advil for sore chest. If fever spikes, chest pain with taking deep breath +/- shortness of breath, see doctor then.
