It is not normal to have pain in the testicles. Testicular pain can be caused by sudden injury, inflammation, sexually transmitted infections or an emergency condition called testicular torsion (twisting). Pain in the testicles can also be a sign of more serious problems like testicular cancer. Follow up with your doctor or see a urologist.
