It just takes longer for the virus to clear in some cases. If your symptoms have cleared up or are improving, it's nothing to worry about. You also probably are no longer infectious for others and do not need to continue to quarantine. But do wear a mask when around other people. Check with your doctor if you remain concerned.

Testing positive still 9 days after the first positive test for Covid 19 is not unusual. No need to be frustrated. When Covid 19 was first happening, it was not unusual to even test 2 months after your first positve test. It varies from one person to the next.
