Wogging (walk a little jog a little) causes a little miner hip joint discomfort for the rest of the day but the next morning, my hip joints are back to normal. is the hip joint stiffness a sign that i am building bone mass density or am i damaging it?

Adding "jogging" to a normal regimen of walking, will cause some discomfort at age "69", since a degree of degenerative arthritis is common at this age. Ask your GYN physician about tests for bone density, and perhaps some imaging studies of both hips. If bone density is found, there are medications to treat this condition in menopausal patients.
