If you need to, it should only be a one time thing. Laxatives containing magnesium can interact with some antibiotics.

Would be cautious as antibiotics are well known to cause diarrhea. Fiber rich foods, improving/ increasing hydration and physical activities should help with constipation and are best in the long run.
