Yes you may: These will not interfere with each other. While taking amoxicillin, it is best also to take acidophilus with pectin - 3-6 per day.

Pharmacist: This would probably be ok as the amoxicillin will be absorbed before the laxative exerts its full effect. Your pharmacist can advise you on this matter,also.

Drug interactions: Great question to ask your pharmacist, family doc or prescribing physician! Always inform doc of all your meds before accepting a prescription. Stool softeners shouldn't interfere w/amoxicillin, nor laxatives but best to check w/above first. I can't give more definitive answer w/o knowing exact medication.
