Unfortunately very often the fatigue associated which chronic disease is unrelenting while fatigue associated with a transient disorder improves in time. When a patient comes to our office with a complaint of fatigue that has persisted for weeks or months, we're always concerned about a serious medical condition or significant depression.

By intensity and duration, fatigue due to medical conditions presents with other symptoms as well related to the acute or chronic condition, some other times is due to mental conditions such as depression.
