I was diagnosed with strep a yesterday. im only on my second dose of amoxicillin. today i have a horrible headache. can amoxicillin cause headaches?

Headaches are a common symptom of streptococcal pharyngitis & may not come on until late in the symptom complex. I would consider any headache more likely from the illness than the medicine, which has a good safety profile.
