No need to worry. I suggest you get in touch w/the dentist and ask the same questions. You MAY be told that the hole will gradually fill in and all will be well but the doc will let you know. Peace and good health.

Without examining you it is only possible to give a broad general answer. What you are describing is perfectly normal. That said, contact your Surgeon and post these same questions. He/she is the person with the greatest knowledge of your procedure and the person responsible for your post-surgical care.
