Acute bronchitis is an infection of the airways which results in inflammation and often bronchospasm. It is typically treated with antibiotics and a bronchodilator and sometimes steroid inhalers. If your nose/throat are getting congested, this could lead to your symptoms. But, if you become more short of breath, call your doc or return to the ER for re-evaluation. Good luck!
