My girlfriend and i partook in raw sex but she is on the birth control patch. we are both 17 and i really dont want to have a kid and im extremely paranoid. should i begin using a condom for extra protection? what chance is there that she is pg?

When the patch is used correctly it prevents pregnancy whether you are using an extra barrier or not. Any form of BC has a failure rate, but the patch when used correctly is equivalent to the pill.

It would be safer to use the condom, as this is something that you control and are not dependent on the woman for compliance with birth control. It is commendable that you are ready to take responsibility for your actions. Condom will also protect you from some STDs. Get HPV vaccine.
