Does this sound like ear infection? symptoms: sore throat. lymph node pain (right side under jaw). sore throat for 6 weeks. nausea. headache. ears pain. joint pain after 6 weeks? would oral antibiotics work or do i need ear drops?

This doesn't sound like an ear infection. Most likely just a cold. But if you have such symptoms as long as 6 weeks, you should check with your doctor. Antibiotics probably are not necessary, unless in-person evaluation reveals a bacterial infection.
