When i touched the knot/lump under my mothers left arm pit i could feel her heart beat and it really felt like her heart was under her arm not her chest (i know its not) but that is how it felt. docter please what could have caused this?

The major artery that supplies blood to the structures of the arm travels through that location. If you feel it it should pulse the same way the heart beats. It is the same finding the doc gets when they take a pulse at your wrist. By itself I don't see this as a problem.

You were feeling the pulsations of axillary artery that goes through the arm pit. It is not a cause for concern.
