Can 25mg amitriptyline help with frequent urination from ic besides the burning feeling?

If 25 mg of amitriptyline is effective in relieving the burning symptom of IC, it will lower the frequency because burning feeling is caused by a distended bladder so if medication can control the symptom then you can tolerate a higher bladder volume which means less frequent voiding. In average, you may need at least 50 mg of amitriptyline.
