HPV usually does not infect the pubic area. Almost everybody gets genital HPV at least once; if you have had a few partners before your marriage, you can safely assume you have had genital (penile) HPV and could still have it. Same for your wife. Having HPV is a normal, expected, unavoidable aspect of human sex. She is at no additional risk for HPV from you, regardless of sexual position.
