Hysterectomy leaving ovaries at 38 years old - will ovaries continue to live until natural menopause age? is there a chance they will fail immediately or early?

The natural course of events is ovarian survival until natural menopause. The eggs are release but have no ware to go and are reabsorbed/recycled by the body.

The ovaries will continue to function and make hormones. They make eggs also but those have no where to go and get resorbed in tissue.
