I have the kyleena iud. sometimes, my boyfriend finishes inside me and a day later, i will bleed lightly. why is that? my periods are sadly still happening after being on the iud for 3+ years. i know it doesnt have anything to do with my periods?

Bloody show/discharge (bright red-not menstrual) implies tissue injury. This can be from self-healing abrasions. If it is enough to fill a pad you may want to get evaluated.
