My 14 y/o daughter is having a swollen finger since yesterday. yesterday it was itching and hurting a little bit. today is not itching or hurting but is swollen and the finger next to it is swollen too. what can it be?

My first thought would be it was an allergic reaction to a bug bite. Without more information and an exam I cannot speculate further.
