Mirtazapine definitely causes drowsiness and it should be taken at night. If you take it at night, the drowsiness is typically gone by morning. The dose you are on is a low dose. If after taking it at night you are still experiencing daytime drowsiness, let your doctor know. It does cause more drowsiness than Lexapro. Good luck to you!
